East TN
– The East Tennessee region has been spurning out some top level O-linemen over the past several years and the #TN2025 class looks to be no different. We have a deep crop of trench monsters coming out the East with several guys sporting the opportunity to play on the highest level of college football.
Baylor O-lineman Jimmy Bryson Jimmy Bryson 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Baylor | 2025 State TN is the top prospect out of East Tennessee and one of the best in the state. This 6 ‘4 big man sits at the top of the charts due to his athleticism and versatility to play multiple positions across the offensive front along with a great body for molding. He holds 10 plus college offers at the moment with some big schools lurking around.
A guy to watch moving forward, who just landed an offer from MTSU is Sevier Co. senior Otto VanRensburg Otto VanRensburg 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Sevier Co. | 2025 State TN . The Smoky Bears O-lineman is one of the more explosive blockers we have from our senior class as well as someone that could handle multiple roles in the offensive trenches. Much of the same above could be said for new Air Force commit and Maryville senior Alex Boyd Alex Boyd 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Maryville | 2025 TN . The Rebels big man has a great body for added weight along with the athleticism and bend to handle tackle, guard or center on the collegiate level.
Carter teammates Judd Taylor Judd Taylor 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Carter | 2025 State TN and Hayden Warwick Hayden Warwick 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL Carter | 2025 TN give the Hornets offensive line two stalwarts up front to lean on this year that bring great tenacity and O-line versatility. Taylor is a violent competitor with a great body for added size while Warwick is a technician that can develop into a center or guard prospect inside the college game.
One of the guys picking up major steam out East right now is Lenoir City big man Bryson Daugherty Bryson Daugherty 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Lenoir City | 2025 TN . This 6 ‘4 interior O-lineman with the upside to become an excellent center in college, Daugherty recently added a new offer from MTSU and that could be the one that swings open the door to adding more. The Panthers senior could be a name to watch moving forward as a breakout offer candidate and rankings stock riser.
Anderson Co. has a pair of big men with the potential to reach the college game in 6 ‘5 tackle Eli Dorton Eli Dorton 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL Anderson Co. | 2025 TN and 6′ 3 center prospect Ty Murphy Ty Murphy 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Anderson Co. | 2025 State TN . Dorton is a recent addition from Campbell Co., who just picked up offers from Eastern Ky and Navy while Murphy is a multi year starter with the Mavs and one of the more underrated O-linemen inside our #TN2025 class. Both big men should be linchpins this year in their team’s efforts towards achieving their 2nd state title.
Three tackle prospects to know about and watch into the summer camp months and the Fall football season are Ethan Eubanks Ethan Eubanks 6'6" | 255 lbs | OL Oak Ridge | 2025 State TN from Oak Ridge, CAK senior Zane Fields Zane Fields 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL CAK | 2025 TN and under the radar Maryville big man Henry Chambers Henry Chambers 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Maryville | 2025 TN . Both Eubanks and Chambers have the potential to remain at tackle on the next level with continued work in the weight room (adding size) while developing their lower half agility. Fields is an interesting talent that plays tackle for his high school team but might fit best in college inside at guard or center. All three guys have good potential with traits that could develop into starting material.
Many people may not know too much about Coalfield senior Mason Smith Mason Smith 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Coalfield | 2025 TN but I’m well aware of his potential to play inside the college game one day. He may reside on the Class 1A level but Smith is a mauler with good size and the ability to handle all three interior O-line positions. Going up against big competition is probably a big reason for his recruitment being slow but if he can put together strong performances this summer at camps, Smith could see things take-off.
Two interior under the radar O-linemen to know about are East Hamilton center/guard Andrew Gilbert Andrew Gilbert 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL East Hamilton | 2025 TN and Walker Valley senior Bryson Farley Bryson Farley 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Walker Valley | 2025 TN . Gilbert brings good size (6’3 280) to his center position along with good strength and a lower base that shows upside to become more agile as the Canes senior grows and matures. Farley has a ways to go before he reaches his maximum capabilities as he needs to be more explosive out of his snaps as well as become more agile as a whole on his lower body. He brings experience at center to the table however along with potential to play guard as well.
This is a solid crop of big men coming out of the East Tennessee region this year with the potential for several of them to make their way into the D1 ranks with big camp seasons and stellar senior years.
Mid TN
– Plenty of talent resides right here in Middle Tennessee where you can find at least fifteen guys that I feel are destined for either the Power 4, D1 or FCS levels with a few others right there, sporting the upside to become an eventual college guy. The best O-line prospect in the entire state comes from this region in Lipscomb Academy senior Chauncey Gooden Chauncey Gooden 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL Lipscomb Academy | 2025 State TN and it’s not even close between him and the rest of the guys within his class when it comes to who the best is.
The Mustangs senior offensive guard is an absolute beast that has some of the best explosion and technique blocking you will find on film along with strong athleticism to handle multiple roles across the offensive front. He has yet to make his commitment but that should change this summer with him choosing among several Power Four options.
Gooden has two teammates alongside him in Jon Adair Jon Adair 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Lipscomb Acad. | 2025 State TN and 6 ‘7 tackle Noah Hacker Noah Hacker 6'7" | 270 lbs | OL Lipscomb Acad. | 2025 State TN that bring college abilities to the Lipscomb offensive line this season, making their group possibly best in the state for the 2024 year. Adair feels destined to play center in college during his time at Virginia while Hacker is dripping with potential, sporting the upside to play left or right tackle on the next level.
Several Power Four programs, including Purdue, Vanderbilt and others are in pursuit of Antioch offensive tackle prospect Ta’Khyian Whitset Ta’Khyian Whitset 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Antioch | 2025 State TN . The Bears 6’5 long armed blocker has been on the scene for multiple years now as he has shown the upside to develop nicely in college as a potential blind side tackle.
The next stud offensive linemen coming out of the high profile Oakland program is 6 ‘7 big man Kaden Mowl Kaden Mowl 6'7" | 310 lbs | OL Oakland | 2025 State TN . Handling right tackle for his Patriots team, Mowl is a load up front that is better suited with his run blocking right now, which leads me to think offensive guard might be his best position in college. Warren Co. senior Xander McCormick Xander McCormick 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Warren Co. | 2025 TN is another stud interior guard/center prospect that has landed several strong offers through the process thus far with multiple Power 4 programs showing interest.
Williamson County has a pair of offensive tackle prospects in Kyle Larkin Kyle Larkin 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Ravenwood | 2025 State TN out of Ravenwood and A.J. Johnson A.J. Johnson 6'4" | 270 lbs | OL Page | 2025 TN coming out of Page that have the potential to find themselves on the Power Four level. Larkin has already built himself a strong offer list, sporting several D1 opportunities while Johnson is still waiting for his recruitment to take-off. Expect to hear more and more about these two moving forward.
Pope Prep offensive tackle Sam Spicer Sam Spicer 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Pope Prep | 2025 TN has some of the biggest potential of any O-linemen from our #TN2025 class. Standing 6 ‘5 275 pounds with a good body for added weight, Spicer is an athletic big man that could potentially handle the blind side in college but at worst, moves inside and dominates at guard. Overton big man Kasen Langley Kasen Langley 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Overton | 2025 State TN is built almost in the same light. An explosive, violent blocker, Langley moves well for his size, showing the ability to play right tackle with his best position possibly coming inside at guard.
Rockvale offensive lineman Bo Bryan Bo Bryan 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Rockvale | 2025 TN is a mauler up front that had his best season yet last year as a junior and is now positioning himself as one of the better guard prospects from the greater Middle Tennessee region. MTSU has already offered and I wouldn’t be surprised to see others get on board soon.
The center position is steadily growing throughout this state with high quality prospects that sport the upside to excel in the college game. The Mid-Tennessee region has several of those guys in Sam Roston Sam Roston 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Brentwood | 2025 TN (Brentwood), Brady Smith Brady Smith 6'2" | 260 lbs | OL CPA | 2025 State TN (CPA) and Wyatt Bakker Wyatt Bakker 6'2" | 275 lbs | OL Father Ryan | 2025 TN from Father Ryan that could develop into potential college starters one day.
Roston is a big boy at 6’5 280 pounds that could handle all three interior O-line positions. Smith and Bakker are both suited best to man the center position in college with the potential to swing over to guard if and when it’s needed.
The rest of the guys from the Mid-TN region to mention here come from the interior of the offensive line with a couple of guys receiving D1 interest. Blackman senior Chris Barnett Chris Barnett 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Blackman | 2025 TN has been creating good buzz from himself, taking in several visits and boosting his stock. Barnett is a nice athlete with powerful hands that could do well in college as a strong run blocker.
Summit offensive guard Ian McCarthy Ian McCarthy 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Summit | 2025 TN has been quietly moving up the charts over these off-season months as several D1 and FCS programs are showing interest. This guy is a true offensive guard that works best right now in the run game compared to his pass blocking.
Ravenwood O-lineman Roman Jones Roman Jones 6'4" | 255 lbs | OL Ravenwood | 2025 TN and Mt. Juliet senior Charles Pride Charles Pride 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Mt. Juliet | 2025 TN are two long term, big pay-off prospects that have the physical size and mobile traits to become college level guys one day. Jones is an explosive blocker with a good body for more size while Pride is an athletic big man that could develop at right tackle with his best position probably being at guard.
The Mid-TN region continues to produce top talent year after year and the #TN2025 O-line class looks to be no different and very well could be the deepest position of all in the state this cycle.
West TN
– Moving out West, this year’s crop of offensive linemen isn’t as deep or talented as year’s past but there are still a few guys in this region that are worthy of college looks. Most of the guys mentioned here will be long term, developmental prospects with the upside to grow into potential college starters but still have a ways to go before they max out on their abilities.
The top O-line prospect coming out of the West Tennessee region this year is MUS big man Michael Ray, Jr Michael Ray, Jr 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL MUS | 2025 State TN . Sporting offers from Air Force and Memphis, the Owls 6 ‘4 interior O-lineman is a technician and a mauler that could handle guard or center on the next level along with the potential to become a four year starter for whoever he signs with.
Chester Co. senior Kalvin Meadows Kalvin Meadows 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Chester Co. | 2025 State TN is one guy coming out of this region that could develop into a tackle on the collegiate gridiron due to his size (6’6 280), arm length and mobile lower base. He needs to enhance his agility and bend but the raw traits are there. Much of the same can be said for Cordova big man Antonio Ray, Jr Antonio Ray, Jr 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL Cordova | 2025 TN .
The Wolves 6’4 athletic blocker is raw in several ways while lacking the weight but he is also one of the better athletes on the O-line coming out of Memphis for the #TN2025 class. He has the body, athletic traits and upside to play tackle in college, if he continues his work in the weight room and playing field.
Germantown (TN) O-lineman Tyrin Williams Tyrin Williams 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Germantown | 2025 TN is a big bodied young man that handles the tackle role for his Red Devils team but fits best inside at guard in college. Standing 6 ‘5 almost 300 pounds, Williams brings the size to the table that warrants college looks but if he can increase his agility and explosion, coaches will start to take a deeper look.
Kylan Glynn Kylan Glynn 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Halls | 2025 TN out of Halls and McKenzie senior Jacob Smith Jacob Smith 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL McKenzie | 2025 TN are two maulers up front that bring some beef and power to the trenches that fit very well inside at guard. Glynn has some good upside as his film shows some athleticism and bend that plays well on the next level. Smith is more of your mauling offensive guard that works well in the run game. His work this off-season with his pass protection will go a long way towards seeing his recruitment go into a positive direction.
If you’re looking for an under the radar center prospect that has good junior film, it’s Lausanne offensive lineman Zayne Aqraa Zayne Aqraa 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Lausanne | 2025 TN . Standing about 6’2 280 pounds, Aqraa anchors well in the middle while also showing clean snaps and the ability to fire up quickly to take on blocks. His size may hold some teams back but I like how this guy moves and competes.
The final four guys to mention out of the West Tennessee region are developmental prospects that have some college abilities and traits but need continued work over the summer and Fall football season. Haywood interior lineman J.T. Williams J.T. Williams 6'2" | 265 lbs | OL Haywood | 2025 TN and Munford’s big man Ethan Maley Ethan Maley 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Brighton | 2025 TN have some nice potential as blockers in the middle that could work both guard or center.
Sheffield mauler Keshaun Adams Keshaun Adams 6'3" | 305 lbs | OL Sheffield | 2025 TN is a wide bodied offensive guard that can move some people in the run game. He has good size at 6’3 300 pounds, so he already brings something to the table that plays up on the college level. Westview senior Will Borgens Will Borgens 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL Westview | 2025 TN is a multi-year starter for a strong Chargers program that has experience manning the center role. His work up front this season will be key in Westview’s shot at winning a state title.
Moving forward into the coming months, the West Tennessee region may spurn up some new guys to watch and place on the list as potential college prospects. This year’s crop isn’t as good as last year’s, but there is plenty of time for this group to grow and push their stocks upwards.
