2022 All State 1st Team

We're nearly a month removed from the final football games of the 2022 season, and we've been recapping the year in football ever since. In today's post, it's time to unveil the best players in the state of Oklahoma this season. We begin four days of highlighting the best of the best with our 2022 All State Team! Today, we unveil the first team selections. On Friday, we'll <strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/01/2022-all-state-2nd-team/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">have our second team</a></strong> and Saturday will <strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/01/2022-all-state-3rd-team/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">feature our third team</a></strong> release. And on Sunday, we wrap it up with our All State Honorable Mentions. First, players we've seen and covered this season who have had a major impact on the field. A combination of stats and success on the scoreboard certainly help that impact. Second, we collected nominations from coaches across the state for their players. And third, in that same survey sent out to the coaches, we included a section for coaches to nominate and promote players for other teams that are worthy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first team is headlined by nine state champion players and leading the charge was 6A-1 champion Bixby and 5A champion Carl Albert, who each had three selections on the first team. No other team had more than one. Cushing standout [player_tooltip player_id='38715' first='Camden' last='Crooks'] is a first team selection for the third consecutive season. Beggs offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='51853' first='Kaden' last='Stanton'], Grove running back [player_tooltip player_id='57158' first='Emmanuel' last='Crawford'] and Stillwater offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='50786' first='JaKobe' last='Sanders'] are all first team selections for the second consecutive season.
