has been a finalist for our Player Of The Year award. Crooks has been one of the best players in Oklahoma for the last several years and he reached new heights this season as a complete player. Helping lead the Tigers all the way to the 4A title game, Crooks was unstoppable on offense, finishing the year with over 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns receiving. He also added 67 tackles and four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. And then on special teams, he was a nightmare to defend as teams kept paying the price for kicking to him. He finished off the year with seven punt return touchdowns and a kick return for a touchdown. Crooks has been one of the absolute best playmakers in Oklahoma and earned his spot as a three-time finalist for our Player Of The Year award and ran away with the award for Class 4A this season.

was without a doubt the most productive player over the last four years. Crooks got on the field as a freshman and then became a three-time finalist for our Player Of The Year award. Crooks was dominant on the field every single year and he’s not just a small school prospect that torched inferior competition. He did it week after week at a high level and it didn’t matter who they came up against. One of the more underrated parts of Crooks’ game is his strength. You look at the measurables and assume he’s a prototypical slot receiver but he’s incredibly strong and plays that way.

finds him as a finalist following another stellar season. Just look at the production on the field and you’ll see why he’s been considered one of the top players in the state for a few years now. Whether it’s as a game-changing wide receiver, a dominant return man or even on defense, all Crooks does is make plays at a high level. Crooks was truly special on offense and in special teams this season and he’s definitely on the short list of prospects that it just doesn’t make much sense why they aren’t receiving more attention from colleges.

is one of the best players in the state and it’s not up for debate. On the season, Crooks has over 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns as Berlowitz’s number one receiver. He also has over 50 tackles and four interceptions on defense. And then he’s arguably the most electric return man in the state. He has seven punt return touchdowns and a kick return for six. And this is nothing new for Crooks. He’s been one of the most productive players in the state over the last three seasons and he’s well on his way to becoming the first three-time finalist for our Player Of The Year award. Full disclosure, we’ve only been around for three years, but it’s still rare. Crooks is a complete football player and an underrated quality in his game is his strength in the open field. He bounces off defenders like a pin ball.

is going to be one of our finalists for this year’s Player Of The Year award. It will be the third straight year he’s a finalist and if he helps Cushing to a state title, he might walk away with the crown. Despite being one of the best players in the state, each and every week he still puts up monster numbers against every team Cushing faces. He has over 20 receiving touchdowns this season and well over 1,000 yards receiving. On defense, Crooks has four interceptions and he’s also a menace in the return game. Crooks has returned five punts for touchdowns and he also has a kick return touchdown on the season. Crooks has truly been one of the more impactful players in Oklahoma over the last three seasons. But while the individual accomplishments are nice, he’s hungry for the ultimate team success with a gold ball.

has earned a spot as a “Top Performer” following his performance on Friday night. Crooks caught a pair of touchdowns and also had nearly 100 yards receiving in the win. He also returned not one, but two punts 50+ yards for touchdowns and he forced and recovered a fumble on the defensive side of the ball. Crooks has been one of the top players in the state all year and now Cushing turns their attention to a playoff rematch with Elk City, the team that beat them in the first round last year.Access all of Prep Redzone

4A’s number one ranked Cushing had no problems in their first round victory over Broken Bow. The Tigers rolled once again on the offensive side of the ball and it seems like each and every week, we have someone from that explosive offense on the top performer this list. . The coin came up on the receiver over the quarterback for this week. In their blowout win, Crooks finished with just over 175 yards receiving and four touchdowns on the night. The Tigers are determined to capture that state championship and they now move on and will host Blanchard next week.Access all of Prep Redzone
