About William
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a fast, physical wide receiver with reliable hands and strong run-after-catch ability. I pride myself on crisp routes, quick breaks, and creating separation. Once the ball is in my hands, I accelerate and finish runs. I can also impact the game on special teams as a returner.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m calm, confident, and competitive. I take preparation seriously and study film so I can play fast and react instead of thinking. I trust my hands, run clean routes, and bring consistent effort every rep. I communicate on the field and try to lead through work ethic and consistency.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I maintain a 4.0 GPA in Honors classes and I’m on Student Council. I play 7 on 7 with Sound Mind Sound Body and I’m on the freshman basketball team. I take pride in being consistent academically while competing year round.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve learned to be dependable and team first. This season I played offense, defense, and special teams based on what the team needed. I try to lead by being prepared, playing with high effort, communicating when needed, and staying positive with teammates.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Balancing a full Honors schedule with football, basketball, and early morning workouts was my biggest challenge. On the field, I played WR, LB, and special teams, so I had to prepare for different roles each week. Keeping a 4.0 GPA through it all made me more disciplined and consistent.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that takes academics seriously and develops its players. I want a program that values work ethic, football IQ, and accountability. I’m focused on finding a culture where preparation in the weight room, classroom, and film room is the standard.
