Biggest Strengths
- Does a good job keeping his feet moving through his rush. Rarely, if ever, stops his feet mid-play.
- Better, more violent hands than most big-school DTs. Does a solid job of pushing the O-lineman’s hands away.
- An amazing frame and a good foundation of strength. Suggests a higher upside than most, and a potential “boom” candidate in college.
- Does a solid job keeping his eyes in the backfield.

Dalton has true upside. I like his tape, and he showed promise last weekend at Rising Stars.
In terms of stats, Dalton had a major breakout year. 45 tackles, 12TFLs, and 39 pressures. On tape, his getoff and motor are the highlights. I love the way Dalton fires off the ball, and he’s quick enough to blow by slower linemen. Additionally, he does a great job of keeping his feet moving. No stopping, and no going backward, Dalton does a good job at working upfield.
Last weekend at Rising Stars, Dalton had a good performance. I saw that same great getoff, but he absolutely needs to continue to work on his hands.
