Brady is the definition of a consistently hard worker. He attends every camp, works his tail off at every event he’s at, along with all of the work in the weight room. He’s built solid and does the little things right. During 1 on 1 time, he was able to win reps with his quick change of direction and flat-out physicality. De La Salle loves to be physical and establish the run, and Brady will undoubtedly be a focal point in the fall of 2026.
Great body of work by Brady this season! He continues to work, and it’s paying off in a big way. He’s bigger, faster and stronger than he has ever been and has put the mental side of the game together with his physical traits. His regular season highlights show all of these things. Right from the first highlight, he uses good vision to exploit a crease, and break it for a touchdown. Other highlights show him spinning and weaving through the line, tacklers bouncing off of him and struggling to slow him down. He has a low center of gravity and the sheer power to be a bowling ball between the tackles. The record is not indictive of how good this team is, and they seem to be hitting their stride at the right time.
Brady had a good day in a game where De La Salle’s starters were pulled very early.
A couple of great carries. His first highlight shows a great TD where a defender bounces right off him. Plus, 0:34 showcases a nice block. Would love to see more power running from Brady this season. Looking forward to what he shows as a Junior. I’ll likely see him this week as De La Salle takes on Davison!
I am really excited to see how Brady tests this weekend. I know he’s a ball player and I know he is a great athlete, but it will be great to put numbers to just how good he is! Brady has done nothing but work his tail off to earn playing time at one of the biggest and most loaded rosters in the state of Michigan as a 2027. I think at this camp, he’ll show what that hard work has gotten him, and I expect him to give his stock another bump!
All season long, Brady has been an excellent blocker and a capable runner.
A pretty straightforward evaluation, but Brady is one of if not the best, lead blockers in Michigan. Last week against Grosse Pointe South, Brady had a number of dominant blocks. Simply, Brady is a powerful football player who puts any flat-footed defender in the turf.
He’s also flashed solid running. Brady has had a number of very good runs where he’s usually seen dragging defenders for extra yardage.
Brady will be a key factor in beating an excellent, undefeated Groves team in the Regional Final.
I’m happy that Brady finally has some tape. Although it is JV tape, I know he’s a 3-quarter guy, and he’s undoubtedly the future of the RB position for De La Salle. His very first highlight is extremely promising- Brady immediately gets hit around the line of scrimmage, then breaks two tackles on his way to a 7-yard gain. The next play shows the same thing: a hard-nosed run with good contact balance. While Brady doesn’t have a ton of tape so far, he’s playing exactly how I’d expect a De La Salle running back to play.
I have no doubt this will be a bellcow back for De La Salle before his high school stint is over. Brady runs angry, and his limited film shows how he is able to use his good physical characteristics to blow through arm tackles, and always falls forward for extra yardage. Brady is doing all the right things off the field like living in the weight room and training hard on his game to be the best he can be, so don’t be shocked if he is able to get some snaps and eventually be THE guy in the backfield.
Brady is someone I am optimistic about. If he’s able to get on the field for De La Salle, he’s going to produce. The thing is, you really have to earn every Varsity rep with that program. His tape shows a ton of hard running and some decent physicality. However, his tape doesn’t show enough great traits for me to rank him just yet. I’ll always try and keep an eye on DLS and see how he progresses over the next year or so.
