quietly had one of the more impactful and productive seasons in the state at the wideout position. Typically doing his damage out of the slot, King is able to fire off with elite speed and run detailed and difficult routes with ease.
Whether it’s on a curl or slant, his abrupt change in direction and top-end speed make him impossible to cover in 1-on-1 situations, and if he gets to work a double move, there’s not a lot a high school level defensive back can do. He has had elite coaching at De La Salle and has steadily improved every year of his career. He has played a ton of snaps at the high school level and has a ton of great experience against stellar competition.

Damion remains near the top of the class for me, even though he’s slipped a tad in other publications (I have no idea why).
He’s a great all-around receiver. Playing mostly in the slot, he’s able to catch those underneath and intermediate balls while earning plenty of RAC. Love his route running, love the RAC.
Damion is also a proven blocker. Does the dirty work, is decently physical, and is overall very well-rounded. I could definitely see Damion working his way to good playing time in the B1G 10 one day.

served as a cornerstone piece of the De La Salle offense last season. In the state championship game against Muskegon, Damion was the leading receiver, having gone for 104 yards and a touchdown. At other points during the season, Damion put up similar or better numbers. Although he’s 5’7″, Damion is able to line up just about anywhere and perform incredibly well. What I like most about Damion’s game is his twitchiness. When running routes, Damion uses his twitchiness to make quick, precise cuts to get open. This also allows him to earn a ton of yards after catch, as he’s able to turn upfield and make people miss in open space. Damion also has the speed to burn past most defensive backs, so it’s usually recommended that you don’t go man-to-man against him. Damion is a P4 prospect in my book, and I have no doubt he’ll be one of the best players in the Catholic League once again this season.

Damion is one of the most sure fire D1 guys on this list. He’s a must watch burner who blows by DBs play after play, and does a great job of finding soft spots in zone coverage. On film you can see how much more athletic he is than his opponents, but in person that gap is really amplified. From hands, to athleticism, to open field vison and awareness, this kid is going to be a huge problem for the next couple of years of high school, and likely a few years of college at least!
