About Tristen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hard worker, hard hitter, disciplined. Willing to do whatever it takes to help my team win, no matter the position. my moto is PAIN - Pursuit - Aggressive - Intensity - Nasty. I try to play every rep like it's my last.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the field I am very easy going, get along with everyone. I am dedicated to my friends and teammates and very supportive. I want to lead by example on and off the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer on Mission trips with my church. Participate in youth group through church. Leadership counsel with my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges. In 2023, mid football season we had a house fire. Our family has been displaced ever since. In the summer of 2024, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Lost grandparents during this time as well. It has been a rough couple of years. I have learned to embrace adversity in order to make me a better person and be prepared for whatever life throws at me.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a football player, I’m looking for a college that offers a strong balance between athletic and academic opportunities. I want a program where I can grow not just as an athlete, but also as a student and a person. I’m looking for a school with a competitive football program that emphasizes player development, teamwork, and a winning culture. At the same time, I value a supportive academic enviro

Tristen is our DL4 in the state of Wisconsin surely looked like it from the live eval I got from him at the SDSU prospect camp a few Mondays ago. The 6’2 270 pounder from Kettle Mortaine has some eye-catching pro agility numbers from SDSU and a ran 4.75 for his best his time which is absurd for his size in my eyes. He was very twitchy with his get off in the reps I watched in Brookings and it didn’t take long to see that Tristen has a solid football IQ that I feel can even grow even more in the coming years. He also has the driving strength that caught my attention at a few camps already this summer and mixing that with his plethora of moves he has to get off his blocks, it’s no wonder why his summer has started to boil up with plenty of offers.
