is a 5’11” 170 lbs CB with a great blend of aggressive play style and the athleticism to capitalize on that style. Anthony is very quick to read and react. His closing speed flashes on tape nearly every single rep. He can be more aggressive because he has the closing speed to be able to recover if he does get caught out of position. I love the timing he shows to disrupt the catch to finish plays. CB is so difficult to play at a high level, but Anthony was delivering big plays as a sophomore on a defense that won the D1 State Championship. Coaches, make sure you have this kid on your radars.

Big fan of this CB! As just a sophomore Anthony provided great coverage at CB for the new D1 State Champions. I love this kid’s awareness while out on his island or in his zone. Several times in his highlights you see him perfectly diagnose routes and read and react at the exact right time to make plays on the ball. His closing burst is excellent and allows him to make those plays where it looks like he leaves his man to go make a play on another WR in his zone. The 5’10” 165 lbs athlete also has the speed to run downfield and is not afraid to battle with bigger WRs. This is just the start of Anthony’s rise. This is a student athlete you need on your radars.

. The freshman put up a strong combine, especially for a freshman athlete. He ran 4.69 in the 40, 4.35 in the shuttle, 7.22 in the L-Drill, and added 8’8″ broad jumps. Vetta carried that athleticism to the field where the real work went down. The freshman proved that he has the reactive athleticism to be able to mirror or react quickly to receiver routes and either close on them from his cushion or stay tight on his man through the route if he was playing tight coverage. Anthony has the twitchy athleticism and long speed needed to thrive at CB. I’m excited to watch his career unfold going forward.
