Tevyn put together a strong career at Bay Port making an impact at RB/FB/LB for the Pirates. The 5’10” 225 lbs athlete is very powerful and packs a serious punch on both sides of the ball. As a senior we saw Tevyn utilized in the offensive backfield as a lead blocker and ball carrier. With the ball, Tevyn is a physical runner who doesn’t waste time with lateral movements. He plays behind his pads, hits his aiming point, and then relies on his low center of gravity to bounce off defenders. As a lead blocker, Montgomery continues to show that low center of gravity and ability to get leverage under defenders and put them on their backs with his powerful leg drive.
