This is the type of kid you love to have on your roster. Extremely talented, yet completely selfless. I have watched Brock play at every level of the defense over the years while Bay Port was making multiple trips to State. Whatever was needed Brock could deliver. At the next level his home is at LB, a position he can shine at. The 210 lbs athlete has athleticism that allowed him to play safety, strength that allowed him to dominate on the edge vs the run as an OLB and DL. As an off-ball LB Brock can lean on that athleticism and his high level football instincts to roam the second level and trenches, meeting the ball at the line of scrimmage or getting pressure on the QB. This kid is a must watch. Very talented and a future pillar of the culture you are building.

Brock is the top uncommitted LB that qualified for State. The senior went out with a bang. Double digit tackles, and a handful of plays made behind the line of scrimmage. Brock is a massive athlete at 6’3″ 230 lbs. That has made him a monster vs the run game. Brock is strong at the point of attack, can quickly shed OL, and the senior is great tackling in space and in the hole. That impressive mass doesn’t hinder him in space either. We saw the senior playing in coverage a few times and could cover ground and pursue to the ball efficiently. This is one of the best uncommitted players in the Class of 2026.

The reigning State Champ is also one of the top returning tacklers in the state. Brock is one of the steals in the Class of 2026. He is versatile from position (LB/S) to his usage (rush the passer, cover, run defense). Find the ball and you find Brock. Gauthier has one of the best noses for the football and the range to be ale to get to it from his OLB position. You don’t see many non-ILBs in the running for this category, but Brock will find a way to produce. He always does.

. Checking in at 6’2″ and now 215 lbs, the 2026 has successful experience at safety and OLB. Having the athleticism to play safety, and now the size and strength to play OLB has morphed Brock into one of the best in this loaded position. He is right at home dropping into coverage. His able to flow, change direction, and close quickly allow him to shine in zone coverage. Plus he has the speed to blitz from a wide alignment and still get to the QB. You can also rely on him to set that strong edge vs the outside run. Brock is a well rounded athlete that is quickly becoming one of the top overall steals in the state.

with his 131 tackles while helping Bay Port secure their first D1 State Championship. The ’26 plays primarily an off-ball OLB role, and fits it perfectly. As a former safety, Brock brings outstanding range and closing speed to the position. Athleticism that allows him to move through traffic effectively and efficiently. The junior flashes his three down ability on a game to game basis. No doubt he is one of the top LBs in this elite 2026 LB Class.

. The younger brother of Wisconsin Badgers LB Landon Gauthier finished just outside the Top 10 in tackles for the state while helping bring home the team’s first D1 State Championship. Brock thrives out on the edge in an OLB/S hybrid role. He has the range and change of direction to be able to drop into a zone, read the QB and close quickly on the ball. Brock also has the aggressive mentality to fly downhill, take on blocks, and make tackles against the run game in the thick of the trenches. In just 25 career varsity games Brock has over 200 career tackles. The production is already there and only going to get more impressive. Get on him early.

. The former safety, now OLB has put on some quality size now looks like a legitimate LB prospect. Brock still has that speed and athleticism from his safety days, and it allows him to fly off the edge to get after the QB, or drop into zone coverage and easily read and slide to stay in passing lanes. Brock also checks the box when it comes to physicality. You can count on him to take on blocks against the outside run, forcing the ball back inside or getting off blocks and making the tackle himself. Gauthier is a very well rounded LB and a top prospect to know in the Class of 2026.
