Braydon was an athlete who I was already anxiously waiting to see perform this fall. But we only made it to June before the rising 2028 QB spiked my excitement and intrigue even further. The incoming junior was able to already earn an offer from Northern State following a camp performance. He has been crushing every combine he has participated in, posting numbers to verify that he is a serious dual threat. Plus the fact he has started to earn opportunities at the next level already, it is clear that the signal caller also has the arm talent to attack the entire field. The fun that Bay Port Pirates fans have had the last few seasons should continue with the roster they return this fall, led by QB

I was already very intrigued by Braydon as it looks like he is gearing up to be the new QB1 for the Bay Port Pirates. Then I looked through the Minnesconsin results and saw the numbers he put up during their combine:
- 4.79 40 Yard Dash
- 4.49 Shuttle
- 9’10” Broad Jump
- 38″ Vertical Jump
That is plenty of long speed for the dual threat QB, but what really excites me are the explosive numbers that highlight his ability to be elusive with the football. They also show suggest that he has built a strong and explosive lower body over this offseason. Looking back at his JV tape it is unfair to put it lightly. He shreds defenses with his vision, speed, and elusive agility. Braydon is going to fit what the Pirates ask of their QBs really well. Northern State isn’t wasting any time either as they offered the 2028 while he was at camp this summer.

Bay Port graduates quite possibly the most impactful athlete coming out of Bay Port. That leaves a massive dual threat void for the next man to step into. Of course we aren’t expecting the next QB1 for the Pirates to do the things we saw over the past two years, but I’m thinking we will still see big things from the Bay Port QB position.

. The 2028 is an extremely athletic QB. Watching through his highlights vs the JV competition you see him stand out from the crowd. He is so explosive on the ground, flying through seams for huge gains. If Braydon can carry that vision, patience, and explosive athleticism while also finding his rhythm as a passer then he will be able to win the job and keep this Pirates offense rolling at a high level.
