Martinsburg WR/DB Sirod Musgrove Sirod Musgrove 5'11" | 140 lbs | DB Martinsburg | 2024 State WV announced that he’ll be taking his talents to D2 Mercyhurst (PA) last week.

Musgrove was a First Team All-EPAC selection on the offensive and defensive teams as a receiver and returner. He was a PRZ WV Class AAA Second Team All-State selection as a defensive back and a very versatile athlete.

He’ll get a shot at WR at Mercyhurst and was one of the more talented two-way players in the state this season while ending his high school career with a state championship ring.

Musgrove will need to add weight to his 5-foot-11 frame but once he does that, there’s a lot to like about the Martinsburg standout. Another very good athlete with top-notch awareness and has shown the abiltiy to consantly position himself to make big plays. As those above him as well, also plays well against the run and is a sound tackler. Has been a consistent and productive player and is also a fun watch on film.

To prove even more how special of an athlete Musgrove is he’s also currently the #1 ranked DB in the 2024 class in our rankings. There are a lot of mouths to feed on Martinsburg’s team so Musgrove’s stats may not be near the top of the list but he is special with the ball in his hands in all three phases of the game. Musgrove has scored touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams this season and the 5’11 160 senior has some serious speed and playmaking ability. He also has the wiggle and twitch to pair with those attributes and is a threat to score any time the ball reaches his hands.
