Shone Tapscott Shone Tapscott 5'7" | 180 lbs | RB/ATH Thompson | 2026 State AL is a talented RB out of West Morgan who is coming off one of his best seasons yet.

Tapscott has great vision and does an excellent job waiting for and following blockers to maximize every carry. He’s quick on his feet, has a great burst of speed out of the backfield, and can quickly cut and change his direction to avoid defenders and create big plays on the ground.

Tapscott is also incredibly physical- he has great contact balance, can play through defenders, and takes tons of effort to bring down. With those skills combined with his speed and elusiveness, he’s a complete back who can cause tons of problems for defenses.

Tapscott made a ton of plays last fall, ending his junior year with 92 carries for 570 yards and 9 TDs on the ground.
