Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Robinson is a solidified corner with big play upside. He is fluid and athletic when opening to match routes, showing the agility to transition cleanly and stay in-phase downfield. His change-of-direction ability allows him to mirror sharp breaks and maneuver in zone coverage. He also has good size for the position, which shows up when he contest at the catch point.
His playmaking radius consistently tightens throwing windows, forcing quarterbacks to be precise. He attacks the ball with solid hands, capitalizing on interception opportunities rather than just deflecting passes. On the perimeter, he’s highly disruptive in both the pass and run game — shedding receiver blocks consistently and stepping downhill to eliminate quick screens before they develop. The blend of fluidity, length, and physical edge gives him projection as a boundary corner who can both cover and finish plays.

Robinson is a technician who wins with anticipation, timing, and ball awareness. He consistently squeezes throwing lanes by reading route stems and quarterback eyes, allowing him to break aggressively on the football. His soft hands and ball-hawk instincts turn tight windows into turnover opportunities.
Beyond coverage, Robinson is a drive killer against perimeter concepts. He diagnoses screens early, defeats receiver blocks with physicality, and finishes plays before they can develop. His ability to control leverage and step downhill makes him a reliable force defender who eliminates free yards — a trait that quietly ends possessions.

is another talented 2027 prospect out of Thompson that did a ton of great things throughout his freshman year and is set up for a big season this fall. Robinson lined up and made tons of plays at both wide receiver and cornerback last fall- he has a ton of athleticism and can do whatever his coaches ask of him. Although lining up at multiple positions, Robinson has made the greatest impact at wide receiver. Robinson can beat DBs off the line of scrimmage to gain great separation, has a really consistent set of hands, can high-point the ball for some tough catches, and does a ton of great things after the catch. It was impressive watching Robinson’s freshman tape, he made a ton of great plays at every level of the field for his offense and will continue to develop into a really talented receiver. Be sure to watch Robinson this season, he put a lot of great things on tape last year and is set up for a big sophomore season this fall!
