At 6’1 200, Davis has the size, speed, and physicality to fly around the field and come up with stops against the run and pass. He’s patient in coverage, has good hands, and can break passes to force PBUs and INTs.

I was seriously impressed with his ability to attack the run. He flies downhill to set the edge and fight off blockers to create huge stops down near the line of scrimmage. Davis is a talented tackler who makes tons of hustle plays all over the field- everyone should get to know his name, he’s going to have a huge year this fall.“

We talk about athletic Linebackers a lot on Prep Redzone Next, but just using my own eye, he has to be one of the most athletic kids at the position in this class. A prospect with broad pursuit range and aggressive play in the box, he can also chase down plays going away from him. He’s a versatile prospect who possesses natural instincts and ability to key and diagnose, play downhill and sideline-to-sideline. The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect has a knack for the football and he isn’t afraid to lay the wood on opposing players. As talented as he is in football, he’s probably an even better basketball player. He’ll be at defending state-champion Thompson High School.
