Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Bell is a tantalizing 2028 receiver. He measures in at 5’11 180 pounds. Last season, he accounted for 34 receptions for 470 yards and 5 touchdowns. Bell also shows off his smarts in the classroom boosting a 3.9 GPA. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, speed, and good jumping. Bell utilizes his quick feet to gain the upper hand against DBs at the LOS. He has a very good release against press coverage, and off. Bell has good separation quickness due to his athletic ability and play strength. Fights through contact during the route. He has good ball tracking skills, and very good catching. Good body adjustment, and very good body control to stay in bounds on sideline catches. What makes Bell stand out is his ability to block. He leads the way for his RB and creates lanes on the outside. I’m very excited to see how he does next season.

Bell is a smart receiver with a natural feel for zone coverage. He understands how to settle in soft spots and create after the catch. His size and timing allow him to win contested catches, especially in the red zone. He finished with 470 receiving yards and five touchdowns and also made an impact on special teams as a returner. Bell’s all around game makes him a strong candidate for a breakout season.

Bell made an impressive impact for Chatfield, showcasing his potential with four receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. Bell’s explosive ability in the open field made him a standout in the passing game, particularly when it came to yards after the catch. Despite his youth, he demonstrated excellent field vision and speed, allowing him to turn short passes into significant gains. Bell’s performance shows he’s more than just a reliable target—he’s a dynamic playmaker capable of stretching the field and putting pressure on defenses. His touchdown emphasized his knack for finding the end zone, making him a key weapon for Chatfield’s offense as he continues to develop.

Bell was the MVP for WR and was a player that caught my eye throughout the day. He was explosive during testing and that continued to one on ones when he continued to win off of the line. He showed strong hands being able to come down with catches in traffic and being able to count the incomplete passes to him on one hand. He was good at creating separation and getting in and out of his breaks quickly.

Rome Bell | Colorado Jr. Buffs: Good combination of toughness, size and quickness at the Wide Receiver position. Put together very well and possesses excellent body control for a prospect at this level. Watch out for a head tap or two out of him, too.

is the only prospect in this writeup that is listed as an ATH (athlete) because of the affect the game on both sides of the ball
– Offensively he is one of the weapons on the outside for uber-talented 2028 quarterback,

. He tracks the ball very well and does a nice job adjusting to it in mid-air. Wouldn’t call him a speedster at this point, but does a solid job of creating after the catch
– Truth be told, I see Bell as a safety as he continues in his prep career. He’s a really physical player on both sides of the ball. As a defensive back, he sees plays developing like a corner player but then gets downhill and can lay the wood like a linebacker
