Dailey has all the tools to develop into a blue-chip bona fide P4 prospect. His next-level size is a sight to see. At 6’4 260 pounds, he has the strength to carry on the lineage of great Thompson edge rushers.
His elite athleticism / rare quick-twitch explosiveness for a player his size is simply overwhelming for offensive linemen. His first step and sudden lateral agility are next level. His loose hips and fluidity as a pass rusher allow him to redirect and create instant pressure. Even when getting chipped, he absorbs contact and gets back to balance while his burst converts speed into power on contact. His athletic profile gives him the ceiling to become one of the more disruptive defensive linemen in his class.

Corey Dailey is a massive youngster with some of the most developmental upside in the state. He is a long, cut athlete with a massive frame that supports plenty of growth. He holds 240 well and has the functional athleticism to stick at the EDGE spot, but he is versatile enough to slide inside. He is a physical player at the point of attack who knows how to use his length to create leverage. There’s a lot to like here already, and I expect Dailey to emerge as a P4 prospect out of Thompson.
