He is a tall, lean, skinny prospect with a lot of space to add weight. He is a basketball athlete with functional athleticism, plus the vertical to climb the ladder and play the ball above the rim. He projects best at safety, but has reps at corner and in the slot. He has a nose for the football, both as a tackler and in coverage, always poking at the ball and finding ways to create turnovers. He will come down and hit you hard, which will improve as he adds weight. Reed holds FBS offers, and that offer list will grow.

Bates has one of the best offer lists in the state, and I expect him to stay towards the top of our rankings draft. There's not a lot of tape out there, so there's still a lot to learn here. Even with his already high ranking, he is a candidate to rise once he gets more tape. In what I can see, he is a long, lean, athletic player who will project as a disruptive player on the interior.

Corey Dailey is a massive youngster with some of the most developmental upside in the state. He is a long, cut athlete with a massive frame that supports plenty of growth. He holds 240 well and has the functional athleticism to stick at the EDGE spot, but he is versatile enough to slide inside. He is a physical player at the point of attack who knows how to use his length to create leverage. There's a lot to like here already, and I expect Dailey to emerge as a P4 prospect out of Thompson.

Milton is one of the more intriguing blends of raw talent and traits in this list of prospects. He is a towering, lean 6'5 215 and still in the early stages of his growth. He has decent get-off with the bend to catch the corner. In space, he flashes his range, using his long strides to close on the football with minimal steps. He plays hard and uses his length to his advantage, an area of his game that will only improve as he gets bigger. There's so much to like here already, and he will only get better.

Law broke onto the radar this spring with a GT offer, putting him in a good position ahead of his sophomore season. He plays plenty of tackle, but at 6'3, he will likely slide inside long-term. He is a strong player as is, impressing with his anchor at the point of attack. His pad level and hand placement are good, too. He is urgent in space, an active seeker of contact when rolling out. He is only going to get stronger. He projects as a steady force up front for Saraland.

Gaison-Salanoa is an exciting player who is in a league of his own when compared to other 2029 DL prospects. He is well developed with a strong, stout frame, already holding north of 300 pounds. He will project as a plugger in the middle, but he is light on his feet and scrappy enough to move around and get after the ball, at least around the tackle box. He is still growing as a block shedder, and that part of his game will only improve with experience. It is a matter of time before major programs get involved here.

Maze picked up an offer last month from Ole Miss on the camp scene, and he is someone to monitor as this class continues to emerge on varsity. There's not a lot of tape out there, but from what I can see, Maze is a functional athlete with a patient, smooth pace when carrying routes down the field. He is the son of a former NFL player and a prime breakout candidate this fall.

Wade is coming off a highly productive, impressive freshman season and debuts as a top QB out of AL in the 2029 class. He is a smaller but well-developed QB from a mechanics standpoint. He has good pocket presence, climbing up to evade pressure and extend plays. He has a live arm capable of making throws on the move and on different platforms. I'd actually consider his ability to throw on the move his biggest strength at this stage. He is on pace for a prolific high school career, and I am interested to see how his traits develop long term.

Competition will emerge over the next few updates, but Sellers has debuted as our top 2029 RB in the state. Simply put, he is the most well-developed, natural RB on this list. He is built into his 5'9 175 frame with muscle and is physical enough to charge through contact. He is a one-cut, explosive runner with impressive short-area burst. His long speed is developing, but he has enough to generate explosive plays. He is a patient, tough, reliable runner who should maintain status as a D1 RB prospect over the next few years. I think there is more tread on the tires athletically than what we saw as a freshman.

I am really excited to see how this WR class will shake out, and [player_tooltip player_id='2155180' first='Keston' last='Beck'] is emerging early as a prospect to watch, especially after an Ole Miss offer in June. He is a tall, lean prospect with impressive speed that he carries over from T/F. He is still learning the nuance of the position and tightening up mechanically, but he has a large catch radius and is a competitor with the ball in space. He has booming potential and plenty of upside.

Williamson is coming off a productive freshman season and really flashes on tape. He is a long, lean basketball athlete who is an impressive mover. He eliminates cushion quickly and does an outstanding job of setting up DBs and attacking leverage. He flashes the wiggle in his routes to work different combinations and work each part of the field. He attacks the ball in contested catch situations and will play bigger as his weight comes around. He is a bouncy, reined-in athlete who, I think, will develop well. I am a big fan.

Keep a close eye on Dilliapree, who received serious consideration for our top spot, and I expect him to remain in contention. You could argue he is the most advanced, well-developed player in our initial rankings. He is all of 5'11 200, built beyond his years and carrying that weight well. He is a long strider in space who is hard to catch and can develop into a quicker athlete. He is a powerful runner in space who can barrel through contact. He is a physical, smooth-paced back, and I get similar vibes to West Virginia RB Amari Latimer, whom I first watched at a similar stage in his growth.

Staying on the topic of RBs, Jackson is another well-developed back who has found some success early in his career. He is a stout, strong bowling ball back with a low center of gravity. He is an explosive player who is quick to his top gear and can charge through running lanes. He runs with urgency and keeps his feet hot, allowing him to find grass more efficiently and stay on his feet through contact. Jackson is a fun watch and will maintain his status over the next few years.

Woods has been sounding P4 alarms early on in his career and pops in our rankings as a top 5 player at the position. He is a smaller, true YAC threat who has elite foot speed and change of direction. He is a dangerous player in space who can generate explosives, but he is also capable of gearing down and snapping off at the top of his routes. He plays exactly the way he needs to play at his size, and he will just get more opportunities to prove himself over the next few years.

Gilchrist might be absent of some P4 buzz as it stands today, but I don't expect that to stand. In fact, I think there's plenty of reason to believe he will develop into a hot commodity amongst major programs over the next few years. He is a tall, lean player who hides weight on his frame. He plays both ways, but will likely project as a DB long-term. He is a true thumper who throws himself at contact with a wreckless abndonment for his body. He consistently pops blockers off their feet, and closes aggressively on ball carriers. He has the size and speed to generate buzz, but the violence to stay on the field and set the tone. He has the potential to rise.
