Competition will emerge over the next few updates, but Sellers has debuted as our top 2029 RB in the state. Simply put, he is the most well-developed, natural RB on this list. He is built into his 5’9 175 frame with muscle and is physical enough to charge through contact. He is a one-cut, explosive runner with impressive short-area burst. His long speed is developing, but he has enough to generate explosive plays. He is a patient, tough, reliable runner who should maintain status as a D1 RB prospect over the next few years. I think there is more tread on the tires athletically than what we saw as a freshman.

Sellers led the rushing attack for SPE last fall, and with another big year, his stock should boil over and yield way to recruiting attention. Sellers is a well-built, strong runner with a low center of gravity. He is really sturdy and is capable of banging around and staying on his feet against contact. He is light on his feet, forward leaning, and has the long speed to lift off and create explosive plays. Sellers has all of the tools to break onto the FBS recruiting scene, which I think is a reasonable expectation after he just picked up his first offer from UTEP.

Sellers is an explosive change-of-pace back who maximizes every touch while flashing the ability to be a featured back. He brings solid quickness and rapid feet, allowing him to navigate traffic and make sharp, decisive cuts. Once he clears the first level, his long speed takes over and he becomes difficult to track down while running with urgency and purpose. His ability to find creases and accelerate through them makes him a constant big-play threat and a fit in almost any offense.

There’s a natural feel for space in his game, especially when plays break open. He doesn’t hesitate — he hits lanes and goes. Sellers adds a different tempo to the backfield and can flip momentum in a single carry.
