Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Wade is coming off a highly productive, impressive freshman season and debuts as a top QB out of AL in the 2029 class. He is a smaller but well-developed QB from a mechanics standpoint. He has good pocket presence, climbing up to evade pressure and extend plays. He has a live arm capable of making throws on the move and on different platforms. I’d actually consider his ability to throw on the move his biggest strength at this stage. He is on pace for a prolific high school career, and I am interested to see how his traits develop long term.

Wade has the makings of a future top-flight quarterback in the 2029 class. His arm strength is already beyond his age and will only sharpen with reps and strength training. He’s highly mobile, able to throw with zip on the run, and has excellent pocket feel — climbing, sliding, and keeping his eyes up despite pressure. Confident in his arm and unshaken by collapsing pockets, Wade has the tools to become a premier recruit in just a few short years.

- Southpaw Quarterback with elite quickness in the pocket. Routinely easily escape clutter and finds his way into free real estate
- Already has a knack for changing arm angles and finding those quickly-closing passing lanes
- As of September 2024, he lists himself at 5-foot-10 and 150-pounds–which might be a bit of a stretch. Regardless, his play on the field speaks volumes right now
