The athletic profile is enough to get you excited. On tape, he fell forward and fought through contact with the ball in his hands. He will need to continue to prove it as he develops. This is a pure traits eval here and he has booming potential.

It’s early and he is still waiting to fully break out, but Steele already holds an offer from Alabama, and it’s due to his rare traits. He is a towering 6’6 basketball athlete who is receiving equal buzz on the hardwood. He is an obvious mismatch threat, but did most of his damage after the catch as a freshman. He falls forward at contact and is tough to bring down. Steele has booming potential as he becomes more confident and aware of how good he can be.
