The Minnesota commit is hands down one of the best cornerbacks in the entire tri state area. He lived up to the hype with a great senior season. Madu is a lockdown corner who had some big time performances including the game sealing interception against Iona Prep. He also did very well against Alabama commit Amari Jefferson from the Baylor School (TN). All year he proved he belongs with the best of the best.

The top overall cornerback in the entire state for the upcoming season. Madu committed to Minnesota after a good junior year and great offseason. Madu has good size and excellent technique. He’s the closest thing you’ll see to a lockdown corner in the entire catholic league. He will be heavily tested week one when he faces off against Amari Jefferson an Alabama Commit from the Baylor School (TN)

Maybe the most hyped up player coming into the event, lived up to the expectations. Madu showed why he had plenty of power five schools interested in him. He utilized his length during the 1v1’s to break up passes. He had terrific lateral quickness and he didn’t have any trouble keeping up with shifty receivers. When he jammed receivers he got the advantage as he won many of his matchups on the day. Madu showed his toughness and competitiveness every single rep en route to a great performance

picked up a offer from Stony Brook earlier in May. The Top 2024 cornerback is getting a lot of love from Minnesota, Michigan State, Penn State, and Purdue but a local FCS Stony Brook jumps in their as a late addition. Madu is likley a Power 5 commitment and showed out at the Elite V showcase this past weekend.

is an elite athlete and easily one of the best athletes in the state regardless of position. Madu has elite explosiveness with really good foot speed, lateral agility, and change of direction. In coverage Madu is really solid at mirroring receivers both in off coverage and press-man coverage. Madu is really physical at the catch point and does a really good job of using his length to disrupt the catch. Madu could work a little more on getting his head around defending longer throws but he has really good awareness of where the receiver is at in their route and does a really good job of only becoming physical at the catch point. Madu is the most complete cornerback in this class and his coverage ability and sure tackling make him the type of player who could contribute in college immediately. Not to mention that he has strong experience on special teams and could be very valuable to teams that emphasis the special teams.

this season. Madu has ideal size and athleticism to be a power five defensive back. Madu is really solid in coverage and he uses his explosiveness and length to make plays on the ball. Madu does a really good job of using his hands to break up passes at the catch point or even poke the ball out before a catch can be fully secured. Made as a man coverage defenders does a really good job of staying on the hip of his assignment. Madu also does a great job of using the boundry as an extra defender closing out the window for a throw on deeper fade routes. Madu not only jumps up almost 50 spots in the rankings but also has picked up a tone of national recruiting attention recently with offers from West Virginia, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Rhode Island, Purdue, UCONN, Penn State, Akron, Syracuse, Temple, Boston College, Duke, and Missouri.
