Balance in the run game and attacking with aggressiveness within downhill intent was a standout. Santamaria is a big hitter that leans on stacking and shedding. Furthermore, he has good eye discipline and will crash lanes. Containing blocks and clogging up lanes to disrupt plays flashes. Equally, he has a high running motor to chase after all ball carriers in all assets.

A linebacker that is not afraid to lower his shoulder and deliver big hits when he has to on bigger ball carriers. Aggressiveness and pursuit were evident points even in the passing game when an open lane at the QB was present. Likewise, he does the dirty work and makes tackles inside the LOS. Equally important, his quickness out of his stance to shoot through gaps and make TFLs was very evident. Brings a lot of energy and passion when he makes secure tackles. Equally important, there was versatility in Santamaria’s play, where he can play the NT position.
