Another electric Stepinac receiver, Hooper had a big season for the Crusaders. He caught 44 passes for 671 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hooper is a dynamic athlete with excellent run after catch ability. His moves in the open field were very impressive. He could either slip past defenders or run right past them. Hooper also displayed very good hands and was one of the top threats over the middle in the entire AAA division.

Darison Hooper Darison Hooper 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Archbishop Stepinac | 2024 State NY was one of the smoothest athletes I saw throughout the camp. He did a fantastic job on his burst out of his cuts and was a really solid route runner. I think Hooper was one of the most underrated wide receivers I saw at camp and his ability to effortlessly bring in the ball either by attacking it with his hands at the catch point or letting it just fall into a basket Hooper was really solid all camp. Hooper did a great job of tracking the ball on longer routes and using his really solid route running to play his way open.
