Razzaq received his first offer from Concordia-Ann Arbor this week, but I am surprised the Bishop Gorman defender has received so little regional attention. Good strength and instincts get displayed as a defensive end shedding blockers and quickly finding the ball in the run game. Coaches like Razzaq’s fast hands and quickness displayed as a pass rushing outside linebacker. Razzaq’s size, tackling ability, and closing speed highlights his ability to be a versatile defender at the next level.

Evaluators would be foolish to overlook Razzaq due to fellow Bishop Gorman LBs holding FBS scholarships. Razzaq attended a camp at UNLV this summer and also went on visits to Arizona and UCLA earlier this year. Watch for Razzaq’s first offer to come before he has played his last game this season.
Razzaq shows good quickness and natural instincts mirroring running backs in zone runs before attacking the line of scrimmage with confidence. Good strength and tackling ability shows finishing plays with physicality in the open field. Razzaq’s awareness and smooth change of direction get displayed covering a lot of ground in zone coverage, highlighting his three-down potential in college.
