The Huntington Highlanders will be searching for a new QB1 next season after the graduation of Tayveon Wilson Tayveon Wilson 6'3" | 205 lbs | ATH Huntington | 2026 State WV , and 2029 QB Marek Midkiff Marek Midkiff 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Huntington | 2029 WV will be in the mix to take over. He saw varsity spot duty as a freshman and commanded the JV team this season after a prolific middle school career. Midkiff has a solid foundation of mechanics to build on moving forward and has a good feel for the position as a young player. His arm strength will improve as he develops physically, but keep a close eye on Midkiff over the next three years to emerge.
