I’m putting Exinor in the same category for being more effective than the stats suggest. He’s credited with one tackle, but like Buchanan, he stayed in the face of Mt. Zion Prep’s quarterback for the majority of the passing plays. I’m sure he’d like to finish those plays with a sack. But as the other bookend (Buchanan was the other) on McDonogh’s defense, he helped the Eagles maintain pressure on a Mt. Zion Prep offense that had no choice but to keep passing after getting down big early. Not the biggest weight-wise, but his quickness off the ball enabled him to get around Mt. Zion Prep’s tackles consistently.

Jameson Exinor Jameson Exinor 6'4" | 200 lbs | EDGE/TE McDonogh | 2027 State MD saw his season cut short early due to injury, but the film he put together still highlights his upside and disruptive ability in the front seven. His first few steps off the ball are impressive, allowing him to gain leverage and knock blockers off their mark with power and urgency.

Exinor shows strong backfield awareness, diagnosing plays quickly and transitioning into pursuit without hesitation. When left unblocked, he’s especially dangerous, moving through the backfield with ease and consistently finding his way to the football. Despite the limited sample size, Exinor’s burst, strength, and instincts give evaluators a clear glimpse of his potential once fully healthy.

Exinor is well on his way to being one of the more sought-after edge defenders in the region. His current list of offers includes Virginia Tech, Liberty, Duke, West Virginia, and Georgia Tech. Exinor’s motor is incredible. He is relentless in pursuing plays and chasing down ball carriers. His quickness off the ball is excellent, and he does a great job of using his hands and keeping offensive linemen at bay. I like the way he sets up linemen off the edge with his pass moves.

What I’m looking to see from him this season: I’m excited to see if he takes a few more steps to become a great or even elite player. He has the size and quickness and has some other tools to work with. How much stronger has he gotten over the off-season? How much more of an impact will he be as a run defender? Exinor has he potential to become scary good.
