Reed checks into our rankings as the number two overall prospect in the class and top linebacker across Idaho. The Nevada commit had other FCS+ opportunities before committing to the Wolfpack, and is a very nice get within the MWC. His ability to play the run, cover in space/downfield and being a true thumper in the box makes him very balanced and intriguing at the next level. He should excel early at the next level, and has the frame and length for plenty of growth potential throughout his collegiate career.

Reed is a prototype outside linebacker at the next level with the ability to really run and cover along with come down into the box and make plays. He is a good open field tackler and has the ability to really rush the passer as well.

Reed makes plays all over the field with his ability to run sideline to sideline along with cover tight ends and runnigbacks. He is a great athlete who is really able to make impact plays at the line of scrimmage but his ablity to blitz and rush the passer is what makes him so special as an outside linebacker.

Reed checks into our rankings as the number two overall prospect in the state of Idaho, and keeps his spot as the number one linebacker in the state after coming off one of the more productive off-seasons of anyone in the region. Reed committed to Nevada at the end of July after taking multiple official visits and hauling in offers from the likes of Yale, Army, Dartmouth, Idaho State, Idaho, Montana and UC Davis among others this Spring and Summer. His athleticism and cover abilities while also showing willingness to come up and bang in the box/make plays behind the line make him a perfect fit at the second level in college and the Rocky Mountain product is a big time get for the Wolf Pack.

Reed is a player who is a multi tool type of athlete than can do a variety of different things on the football field. He is an excellent linebacker with a quick trigger and ability to run with anyone. He can put his hand on the ground and play on the edge but also matches up in coverage on tight ends along with runningbacks. He is a player that is primed for a monster senior season and its no shock to see more next level interest coming in.

Reed who is the top prospect in the state of Idaho in this 2025 class has had a very productive summer and picked up recent offers from Big Sky Idaho State and UC Davis. He also picked up recent offers from Air Force and UPenn and is up to 10 offers heading into his Senior season. He offers great position versatility at the next level at both inside or outside linebacker and has a good combination of pass rush abilities and coverage skills downfield and is a very fluid athlete.

Reed has been very busy on the camp and visit circuit, and recently visited Oregon, Wazzu, Idaho, Montana, Weber State and Utah. He has had one of the best off-seasons of any player on the western region and had no offers during his Junior campaign, which quickly changed. The number one player in Idaho is now up to 5 offers, and should have another 5+ by the time it’s all said and done.

Reed checked into the 247 rankings as the number one player in Idaho, and a mid 3-star recruit and offers tremendous position versatility at the next level and has really seen his recruitment pickup over the past few months at the G5 and FCS level. the 6’2″ linebacker has offers from Navy, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Army and should see others roll in here in the Spring evaluation period.
