Rovig is one of the more pure passers on the western region and had a truly breakout senior campaign for Rocky Mountain and remains one of the top uncommitted signal callers. He shot up our rankings to inside the top 20 overall and slides in as the number two quarterback in his class across Idaho. He has tremendous arm talent and puts good zip on the ball while able to fit it into tight windows and shows he is a fluid passer with a quick release and has great poise and presence in the pocket. Rovig will be a name to note as we near national signing day across Idaho.

Rovig had a monster season where he was second in the SIC in passing and showed why he is a college level player. Smooth release with great timing on the deep ball and is able to get the ball out to playmakers quickly. A plus athlete that can hurt you with his legs as well on zone read and scrambles.

Rovig has been the catalyst behind a dominant Rocky offense that is really putting up huge numbers this season. His ability to make plays from the pocket is what really allows Rocky to opperate but his ability to keep the defense honest with his legs is what make thier offense so hard to defend.

Rovig has had a tremendous start to his senior season and leads the offense for the number one team in the state of Idaho. He has been an extremely efficient passer while able to stretch the field and consistently throw the ball into tight windows while putting up big numbers week in and week out for Rocky Mountain. This week was no different against Middleton where he had another big showing, throwing for over 350 yards and an impressive 5 scores. This undefeated Rocky team looks unstoppable as of late, and is the front-runner to take home yet another the 6-A State Title.

Rovig has exploded onto the scene this Fall for the top team in the entire state, and has been dealing the ball out to plenty of next level weapons that are on this Rocky Mountain offense. Rovig has shown a strong arm downfield and solid ball placement both over the middle and on outbreaking routes, while buying time with his feet and shows the ability to throw on the run/across his body. He has thrown for almost 1,000 yards through only 4 games and has 11 touchdowns total with 9 passing and 2 rushing while tacking on another 70 yards rushing.

Rovig has been a star this season for Rocky, granted its early but the numbers he is putting up are outstanding and the way he has been operating the offense for Rocky is what makes them truly scary. He is able to make all the throws and is great in the run pass option game.

A strong arm with good timing and ability to move the pocket. He is going to be a major player in why Rocky is successful on offense this season.

Rovig has a new look when it comes to being under center after moving from Timberline over to powerhouse Rocky. Rovig has all the tools to help this talented Rocky team reach the mountain top with a smooth release and plenty of arm strength. He also is a plus athlete as he showed last season where he played some wide receiver. He is a better runner than people give him credit for. He is going to be a top player to watch with the plethora of skill players stacked around him at Rocky.
