Jacobsen spent the entirety of the year at the cornerback position where he was able to use his length to disrupt receivers not only at the line of scrimmage but in coverage. He projects as a safety at the next level but showed that he can play multiple spots and is comfortable on the edge and in one on one spots.

Jacobsen has been one of the top safety prospects across Idaho for the past couple of years, and has been starting for Rocky Mountain since his sophomore season. Jacobsen is a big time hitter in space, is not afraid to drop down into the box and take on bigger blockers/backs and plays with violence from the third level. In the middle of the field, he covers a ton of ground sideline to sideline with great long speed and natural ball skills/disciplines eyes in zone coverage. Checking into our rankings as a top 15 player in Idaho and top 3 defensive back, he is a no brainer college caliber kid. He currently holds one offer from the College of Idaho.

Jacobsen is another impressive Rocky Mountain prospect that has great length and closing speed from the third level and consistently baits quarterbacks into bad throws and has elite ball skills with return abilities as well. He was recently offered by College of Idaho, and it would not be surprising if FCS schools came in and offered this Summer.

Jacobsen comes in ranked as our top defensive back in the class of 2025 with his prototypical length. Jacobsen is a long rangy safety that can not only cover in space from hash to hash but can also set inside the box and tackle. One of the smoothest athletes in and out of his transitions with a really quick trigger after diagnosing route concepts. A sure tackler that really fills the alley well and has the ability to really time up blitzes. Should be a household name on all scouting reports this season.

Jacobsen checks into our top five overall in this rankings update across Idaho, and is a rangy and high IQ safety that can shut down the entire third level of the field with a quick trigger, closing speed and elite ball skills in transition with return abilities. He had a stellar third season for one of the top programs in the state, and has nice size, length and the ideal build for the next level. He is starting to pick up some interest from college programs along the western region, and it should not be long until he picks up his first offer as he is one of the states top players regardless of class.
