Kelley is one of the top linebackers in the state of Idaho and checks in as a top three player his position in our rankings and has been one of the best at his position for several years now. He is a very active tackler that gets downhill quickly it is a true thumper in the box that moves well for his size and shows some cover abilities downfield. He can apply pressure and well-timed blitz’s from various angles and is a high motor kid that is always around the ball. He’s a very balanced prospect with tons of playing experience at the highest level in the state and would provide immediate impact to any school at the D3+ level.

Kelly is a smart football player with the ability to really diagnose what is going on in front of him and then make a play. He plays with a high motor and great effort while being a really solid tackler. He is able to shed blocks and then make plays in the backfield and should be a prospect to watch in the coming months.

Kelly is a really solid linebacker who reads his keys quickly and triggers downhill. He is strong at the point of attack and is able to shed blockers quickly. He has good coverage ability and can match up well with running backs and tight ends.

Kelley checks into our rankings as a top three linebacker in his class across Idaho, and just inside the top 20 overall. He is a very athletic and fluid moving linebacker that can play either inside or outside, and shows a good balance of coverage skills and run stopping abilities both in the box and the open field. The Rocky Mountain product is a sure tackler that has quick play recognition, brings good violence at the POA and does a nice job at navigating through traffic to knife into the backfield consistently. Kelley is one of the more under-recruited prospects across the state, but should have plenty of D3+ opportunities through his senior season.

Kelly is one of the top linebackers in Idaho, and should fit nicely at the inside or outside linebacker position in college, and is a no brainer next level caliber player. He is smooth in space and in transition, breaks quickly to ball carriers and shows fluid movement abilities and hips in coverage with good ball skills and return abilities. In the run game, he shows he can set the edge and come up and bang with bigger blockers, while able to shed quickly and is a sure tackler that brings a thump at contact. When applying pressure, he has well timed blitzes, some pass rush abilities and elite closing speed and is a high IQ player that is always looking to get the ball out. Look for Kelly to be one of Idaho’s top defenders in 2024.
