The senior two-way star for Rocky Mountain is one of the top defensive backs and wide receivers across the state of Idaho. He is a twitchy athlete with natural ball skills, range in the open field, and has tremendous tracking abilities over the top. Defensively, he has terrific natural instincts, breaks quickly to ball carriers in run support and can cover a ton of ground while baiting quarterbacks into bad throws. He is a no-brainer next level athlete that has been flying under the radar throughout his prep career and will be a big-time steal as we near the second and final national signing day coming up next month.

Broadbent has really shown out this season with his ball hawking ability and the way that he triggers downhill. An impact player in the run game and does a great job of attaching himself to slot receivers and tight ends. A true free safety at the next level with his ability to cover in the backend. Picked up an offer from Idaho State.

Broadbent is a no brainer candidate to enter into our rankings in the next update, and has shown excellent playmaking abilities on both sides of the ball for the top team in the state. Currently holding one offer to the College of Idaho, he has natural instincts from his safety spot, outstanding ball skills and breaking abilities while able to undercut throws and jump routes, while showing return skills as well. In the box, he can trigger into traffic and is a sure tackler when coming downhill while bringing a nice thump at contact. He has put together multiple weeks of top performances on both sides of the ball, and is a no brainer college caliber prospect that should find a home after the season.

Broadbent is surrounded with talent but the senior is going to be one of the top players at his position. He has great instincts and range at the safety spot but where he is really going to shine is probably at a corner spot where he can use his physicality to his advantage.
