Brown isn’t the flashiest tight end you’ll ever find, but he’s excellent in Rolesville’s H-Back role, where he’s asked to make a ton of reach blocks and get to the second level often. As a pass catcher, he has strong, safe hands and though he’s not going to be one of the leaders in receiving yards, he’s a chain-mover who knows how to get open.

Brown didn’t have huge numbers as a sophomore, but his measurables have him in a position to be one of the top tight ends in the state as a junior. He’s a strong blocker with the athleticism to get to the second level and take linebackers out of the play. He didn’t run many routes as a receiver in 2023, but that could change in 2024 as he likely flexes out wide a bit more often.
