Brown has college size and speed, and he’s been on the radar for a long time. An early Nebraska commit, Brown paced the Rolesville offense with over 1,300 yards and 22 touchdowns last season. The Rams showed a few surprising struggles from a balance perspective last season, but expect them to rely on Brown’s vision and tackle-breaking abilities and return to top form in 2026.

Brown is the top all-around back in our rankings, a guy who can pick up tough yards, but also has the breakaway speed to pick up chunk plays and outrun the second level of the defense. His pass protection and ability out of the backfield are what separate him, giving him three-down potential.

Brown’s combination of speed and power is tantalizing for college coaches and he’s a candidate to be one of the top backs in the country. His contact balance and ability to quickly get up to top speed make him a home run threat, even if he didn’t have a ton of volume on a loaded offense. He’s safely our top back in the state and I’m interested to see if his recruitment takes off again after an initial early surge.

A top recruit, Brown’s combination of power, contact, balance, and speed is a nightmare for defenses, but on a team full of Division I recruits, he didn’t have the volume last year to rank among the state leaders in rushing. That’s not as important as the physical ability here though and Brown keeps quietly getting better and better. In a class that has experienced a lot of upheaval at the top, Brown has just quietly been plugging away, earning another slight bump in this update.
