Allen is one of the top prospects in the 2029 class, but it wasn’t until this season that he began to play a key role on the varsity squad. The sophomore has thrived against the run despite a murderer’s row of outstanding offensive line opponents on the schedule. He sheds blocks with ease and frequently disrupts the backfield. He’s also flashed as a pass-rusher this year. His physical traits have always made him an outstanding prospect, but seeing the technique and production come along has really helped his evaluation.

Allen played here and there on varsity as a freshman last season, and we’ve seen him dominate in past Prep Redzone events. He plays on a Rolesville line that is re-tooling for a big year in 2026. He’s attacked the offseason in the weight room and looks poised for a breakout sophomore season.

As you can tell from his profile picture, Allen is a long-time scouting favorite of Prep Redzone, and he earned his top-15 ranking in the class of 2029 without a ton of varsity playing time. With a few key departures on the interior, Allen is expected to take on a much bigger role. He should thrive after a big offseason in the weight room.

Allen continues to quietly improve as he grows, and this offseason, he’s turning the corner as his body matures. We’ve seen him in past Prep Redzone camps and always came away both impressed with his current talent and excited about his future growth. He’s a technician with the ability to beat guys with speed, power, and pass-rushing moves. He doesn’t have a ton of varsity film, but expect him to take on a bigger role in 2026.

Allen has massive potential, and the depth chart opens up for him to have a breakout sophomore season. The top-ranked interior lineman in our 2029 rankings, Allen had a quietly impressive freshman season as a rotational player on one of the state’s best defenses. Now, the quick, strong interior defender is likely penciled in as a starter, and he has 5+ sack upside.

If Allen played for a smaller school, he’d probably be among the state leaders for young interior linemen. As it stands, he’s being patient on a deep Rolesville defensive line. He’s flashed as a pass-rusher, and we were impressed when we saw him at our Prep Redzone Combine in the offseason.

Allen is a guy who has been on our radar for a while, and he’s a name to stash away for the future. The Rolesville transfer is sitting behind a deep group of Division 1 offensive linemen, but once they graduate, he’s next up. His blend of size and quickness turned the heads of the Campbell coaching staff, earning him an early offer.

Allen emerged as a vocal and physical leader during drill sessions, consistently setting the pace for his group. His first step is explosive, and he showcased a variety of effective counter moves that kept offensive linemen guessing. With his combination of size, speed, and technique, Allen projects with Power Five potential. He’s a name to watch closely in the coming years.

Allen is a name you’ll be hearing for years to come. A standout on the defensive line, he combines raw power with surprising agility—moving with the quickness of a running back. What sets him apart isn’t just his strength, but his advanced skill set. With a variety of pass-rush moves already in his arsenal, Allen is remarkably polished for an incoming freshman.

Allen is a prospect we’ve watched come up through the years, after attending a pair of PRZ Next Middle School Camps, delivering standout performances at Future Stars and a number of other events. Explosive first step off the snap with violent hands and a motor that runs high at all times. Versatile enough to play inside or on the Edge as of January 2025, but looks more like an interior guy at this point.
