Collins just committed this week to the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech along with his fellow teammate JJ Winston. Collins is one of the best DBs and WRs in Georgia and he does things that most players in the state cannot. He is going to have a massive year displaying his insane catching ability and all-around style. The Flats are thrilled to have him committed. Huge year ahead for Collins.

He can certainly take the top off a defense and is a one on one mismatch for defenses. His jump ball ability is second to none and his willingness to go get the ball is what will set him apart in this next season. He’s going to have a massive season.

He’s now added many D1 offers and keeps adding more. I believe in his senior year he will reach a new height in his game in which I firmly believe he’s capable of. His athletic ability and mismatch frame against DB’s is a huge advantage for him. Collins can catch the deep ball, catch the slant and take it the distance and be a complete possession receiver. He has top tier receiver skills, yet he stars just as well on the defensive side of the ball being able to lay the big hits separating the ball from receivers and he’s got great ball skills that help him snag interceptions. Collins is a sure playmaker and this senior year of his will be his best one yet. Collins also stars on the basketball court. Alongside of Collins, is a fellow teammate who stars with him on the court and field and that’s JJ Winston. I like to call them the “Twin Towers.”

Another North Georgia receiver having a big month on the recruiting trail, Collins is a long, lean pass-catcher with outstanding hands. He can be aggressive at the line of scrimmage and has enough ball skills to make a tough catch it traffic or down the sideline. He’s a big target down the field, and above-average athlete, and has a 6-foot-4 180-pound frame that will only be tougher to deal with at the next level as he adds more weight and muscle. He caught 32 passes on offense for 527 yards and five touchdowns last year and it’s led to big offers this month from Tennessee, Mississippi State, Toledo, East Carolina, UFC, USF, among others.

A two-way prospect in North Georgia who was a consistent playmaker all year long as a junior, Collins brings a lengthy 6-foot-4 180-pound frame with strong hands that allow him to leap up and snatch the football. As receiver last fall for the mighty Rome Wolves, Collins brought in 32 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns. He works the sideline well and can be tough to corral after the catch. He’s a big target and can pick up yards after the catch when given an opportunity. His stock is on the rise after an impressive 2024 season, and he’s added recent offers from Auburn, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, and Georgie Southern. He’s a pass-catcher on the rise who should see even more offers come his way.
