One name who emerged as one of the Wolves best defensive backs last season was Derrick “DJ” Watkins. He was really solid throughout the season and really turned it up in the playoffs. During their match against Gainesville, Watkins really locked up on his end and made it very difficult all game for anyone to catch or get by on him. He is having himself a good spring so far and I see him having an outstanding season this fall. Look out for Watkins in the secondary.
