Jyquice McCrary is going to be one of the big impact players on the defensive side of the ball down in the trenches this season. Last year he was a big part in their strong defense. McCrary has all of the tools, the size, the ability and IQ. He is someone I feel like hasn’t even reached his potential, yet which is scary for opponents. He is having a good spring and this summer, and fall should be big for him, and he should be big for the Wolves in the fall of 2026.

Jyquice Mccrary is a guy who holds several D1 offers and currently has offers from UGA, Georgia Tech and several more. He has excellent size and yet to reach his potential. I expect him to have a big year in 2026 for his senior year campaign. He is a mismatch in many ways and has great ability and can move for his size. He will have a big year this season in 2026, so keep eyes on Mccrary.

A big body up in North Georgia who can create havoc on defense and pancake defenders on offense, Mccrary is a physically gifted young man who plays hard, is naturally strong, and plays quicker than most at 6-foot-4 300-pounds. It’s not easy to make a consistent impact on both sides of the ball, but that’s what Mccrary brings for the Rome Wolves. His size and versatility has also led to a recent offer from East Carolina. He’ll see a new ranking come his way in the next Prep Redzone update after a strong junior season.

A big-time talent on the rise in the State of Georgia is Jyquice Mccrary Jyquice Mccrary 6'4" | 300 lbs | DL/OL Rome | 2027 GA . Standing at 6’4 300lbs, Mccrary is a massive force on the defensive line and the offensive line. His ability to play both at a high level using his frame and size to his advantage will certainly be an asset to his team this year. He currently holds offers from Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State University, Murray State among a few others. Expect more to come his way especially once he starts making noise at a powerhouse program at the 5A level.
