Stovall has the ability to lock down in the secondary while being able to come up and lay the hits on ball carriers. There are many studs on this Rome defense which is why they held teams all year from scoring on them until the last game of the season. This defense helped them win the state title also. Stovall is one of the key players on this defense.

He is an all around kind of player who can lay the lay and make a play. He is a ball hawk through the air and is a very solid hitter as well in the run game who tackles with a sense a fundamental play. Stovall is a guy who is a “Major Ball Player.”

One of the most impressive secondary players that I have seen is Rome’s Bentley Stovall Bentley Stovall 5'8" | 140 lbs | DB/WR Rome | 2029 GA . What really stood out to me in person and in film is his versatility to make plays in so many different ways no matter where it’s at on the field. Specifically at the safety position. He brings high energy to his team which keeps the team energy high and he carries himself in a positive manner on the field which carries over into his teammates. I noticed a lot of that leadership and good teammate quality in the state championship game, in which they won. Stovall’s ball skills, tackling ability and physicality is what makes him really stand out. This is a guy to keep on the radar because he’s certainly a playmaker in the secondary.
