The most recent 2024 prospect to make his commitment to the next level is Morgantown’s Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL Morgantown | 2024 State WV who will head to D2 Shepherd after high school.

Brown was a PRZ WV Class AAA Second Team All-State selection season even after missing half his senior year due to injury.

He could have easily joined his father ShaDon Brown at WVU as a PWO but instead will look to make a name for himself at the state’s top D2 program out in the Eastern Panhandle.

Unfortunately, Morgantown High offensive lineman Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL Morgantown | 2024 State WV missed half of his senior season due to injury but still ranks as a Top 5 offensive lineman in the 2024 class. Brown is one of the nastiest offensive linemen in the state which I’ve seen firsthand at games, camps, and on film. He’s just a very physical player who loves asserting his dominance on opposing players which is exactly what you want in a lineman. Great run blocker who plays with very good leverage and is very physical at the point of attack. Brown is also quite athletic for a big man which he’s shown from playing tackle in high school at 6’2. He’s also a very fundamentally and technically sound player which is no surprise given that he’s the son of WVU Co-DC and secondary coach ShaDon Brown. Brown has D1 ability and if he were a bit longer I think he would be a no-doubt D1 player and is on that D1/D2 prospect line right now.

The Morgantown Mohigans will have one of the best 2024 offensive linemen in the state in 2023 with Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL Morgantown | 2024 State WV . Brown is the son of current West Virginia University Co-Defensive Coordinator ShaDon Brown and you can see that he’s been coached up very well by his father. At 6’2 280, he’s not the biggest linemen, but Brown is a very strong and athletic guard that moves very well. With Morgantown High being a run-heavy Wing offense, Brown is very skilled and fundamentally sound in run block and is often tasked with pulling and getting to the second level of the defense. He is a very physical and hard-nosed player that enjoys the contact of football. Brown is a nasty blocker who plays until the echo of the whistle which you love to see in offensive linemen. He’s very strong and frequently overpowers opposing defenders who often end up on the ground. Brown has good athleticism and feet that allows him to move well and get to the spots he needs to be quickly. He also plays on the defensive line and could likely play there at the next level as well.
