Matthew Layton | Prep Redzone Scout
The momentum 2027 K Aidan Petsko built as a junior has carried into his senior season at Morgantown, and he’s been one of the most accurate specialists in the state this year. The lefty has been highly efficient on both PATs and field-goal attempts through the midway point of the season, giving the Mohigans a kicker they can trust and be confident in. Petsko has become a weapon in the third phase of the game and can impact the result of games in contested matchups. With Morgantown trying to defend its state title, having a specialist who can consistently capitalize on scoring opportunities could prove valuable as the season gets closer to the postseason.

Kicking for the state champion Mohigans, Petsko was reliable whenever called upon, finishing a perfect 5/5 on field goals with a long of 37 yards while converting 39 of his 42 PAT attempts. He also made an impact on kickoffs, recording 21 touchbacks and consistently helping Morgantown win the field position battle.
