Kennett checks in as the top linebacker in the class and recently has made the transfer over to Santa Margarita from Servite. He is a very fluid and athletic in the box banger that can move around at the second level and be a pass rusher on the edge as well and makes tons of plays in space and behind the line. He has ideal closing speed and range to make tackles outside the box while able to go sideline to sideline and shows violent hands to get off blocks and dip/bend around blockers and is a high motor guy that can cover downfield as well. A no-brainer national recruit caliber player, he is a big time addition to the Eagles defense and should have a monster junior season.
