About Tripp

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say my style of play is quick but controlled. I try to mimic my style after Nick Chubb and Saquon Barkley. I’m short in stature, but powerful and fast. I have the ability to make tacklers miss and pride my self on never getting tackled on first contact.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a laid back guy when I am not on the field. I love to be around my family and play games on game night. We are very competitive so it’s always fun.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed great leadership qualities. I believe this comes easy to me due to my dad being a coach. I have heard about what it takes to be a leader my whole life. I believe in leading by example first then leading vocally! I often volunteer around our community. My favorite volunteer time is special Olympics and the challenger league.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I got injured in a Varsity game my 9th grade year. I had to have surgery to repair my meniscus. Missing the last part of the football season and Track was a challenge. As a guy that loves to play the game of football I knew this challenge would be hard. However, I put my head down and rehabbed so I can be on that field doing what I love in the spring, summer and fall.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that offers a great Engineering department!

Chatmon has good vision, physical ability and can hit the hole with a burst getting into the second level. He is a player that is going to make a lot of plays in the 2026 year, keep eyes on him closely.
