was a player that we had circled as a prospect primed for a big 2023 season. We watched Kendrick quite a bit in the offseason while he played in various 7v7 tournaments and he performed well at our camp in April. And he’s backed up all the offseason hype with a terrific season this fall. And with the Pioneers losing one of their star wide receiver/defensive backs, Kendrick has taken his game to a new level this fall. In addition to receiver and defensive back, Kendrick is also a playmaker as a wildcat quarterback.

We really try to avoid using the word “underrated” to describe a prospect because when you use it too much, it becomes completely irrelevant. But Stillwater 2024 wide receiver

is one of the more underrated wide receiver prospects in the state’s 2024 class and we think it’s only a matter of time before he blows up in a big way. And while Thompson and Ford will get a lot of attention in the passing game, that could open things up for Kendrick to be a playmaker in addition to what he does to help the running game with his down-field blocking. Kendrick had a good offseason as well with good performances in various 7v7 tournaments and then he completely showed out in late April at our last prospect camp. He was one of the top receivers in attendance and he turned heads that day, he should turn more this fall.

had the best broad jump out of all of the wide receivers. The 2024 wide receiver stands at 6’0 tall and has a broad jump of 9’6″. He recorded that on both of his attempts. It was an impressive showing by him, as this can reflect in his play on the field.

was right there with Greene, contending with Vaughn for MVP at the wide receiver position. And just like Greene, we were fired up to see Kendrick in person after watching him in the state championship game last season and then seeing his junior film a few weeks ago. Kendrick is an absolute playmaker and the college coaches in attendance were raving about him during the one on one portion of the camp. One coach talked about Kendrick and mentioned how he didn’t see the Stillwater playmaker drop a pass. He certainly got on the radar of a few schools if he wasn’t there already. With Stillwater losing some big names off their offense from last season, we anticipate Kendrick to be one of the top playmakers and have an expanded role within the offense. He certainly impressed us throughout the afternoon in Broken Arrow and we think that he’s going to be a steal in the state’s 2024 class. He’s another prospect that is never going to hurt your team and he proved last season that he can be used in a variety of ways on offense.

enjoyed a breakout season and ended up being a swiss army knife for the Pioneer offense and was used in a variety of ways. As a wide receiver, Kendrick’s top quality was his physical nature as a player. He would flatten defensive backs when the Pioneers were running the football and his film featured some of the best run-blocking from a wide receiver. And then when Kendrick has the ball in his hands, he has a strong upper body and is very difficult to deal with in 1 on 1 situations. And that gave Kendrick the ability to come down with tough catches in traffic. Kendrick was also good with the ball in his hands in situations after the catch. It’s going to be very interesting to see how the Pioneers use Kendrick this fall as they have to replace some serious skill players within their offense. That could open the door for Kendrick to have a significant jump in production this season. Only time will tell. But if this offseason is any indication, Kendrick is ready to make that jump.
