Gibson projects as an interior guy at the next level at either guard spot and is a balanced prospect that is solid both in the run game and in pass protection. He shows strong ankle/hip mobility in his stance especially for his size, has an explosive first step and gets a quick inside punch on defenders off the ball in the vertical run game. Gibson creates immediate push and is powerful out of his stance, finishing blocks at the first level and also shows he can climb to the second level, combo, and pull across the LOS when needed without wasted steps and takes the proper angles to kick out. In pass protection, he shows a solid snap out of his stance, has patient hands without too much lunging and has a seemingly good understanding of pressure pickup in pass protection. He has been flying a bit under the radar so far, but should start to see his recruitment pick up through the Spring and his Senior season.
