One of the first receivers I watched during this update was Andres Perez Andres Perez 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR St. Peter’s Prep | 2025 State NJ , who left a really good impression on me. Sneaky good, Perez has the requisite balance to break, spin, and stay upright from arm tackles. The more I watched of him, the more I realized that he has some wheels on him too. With the ball in his hands, Perez weaves in-and-out of danger effectively. Perez’s skillset is highly versatile, allowing him to also line up as a split back in the backfield – accenting his mismatch-ability against linebackers. In terms of his routes, Perez runs them precisely in terms of both depth and path – which he does not get put off of either. Lastly, as he approaches danger we see Perez pin the ball to secure it.
