Attending his second PRZ Next Middle School Combine, Ratliff showed big signs of improvement from the last time I saw him live. He physically looks different–way more muscular and more athletic overall. He moved very well throughout the combine.

- The Jersey City kid is a fast, shifty athlete that has to be in the conversation when talking about the top 2029s in Hudson County. Ratliff gets the label of Athlete (ATH)/Running Back because he may ultimately end up in the slot due to his ability to create in space.

Originally liked him as a Running Back based off his performance at our PRZ Next Middle School camp last year, but he’s continued to evolve. Can also catch and play slot WR at on offense. Defensively he can play CB/S/OLB.

Ratliff is a dual sport athlete that gets it done on both sides of the ball. As a running back, he displays natural ability to evade tackles and pull away from the pack. More of a threat on the edge, but shows foot work to get in a gap then climb the ladder outside, where his strength lies. He allows blocks to set up, then gets creative with the space open to him.
