Expert Analysis
Caleb Sisk | Prep Redzone Scout
The offensive line for the Wolves has always been solid, and they have a true leader as a young guy on the roster this season, as Williams is going to be one of the players upfront with the tallest of tasks. He will be used in many big moments, but will be best when it comes to driving defenders back, as he will be asked to be one of the better run blockers in the state. If Williams can meet his expectations, he will be one of the better players on this team, regardless of position. Without a doubt in my mind, I would predict he is the player who gains the most ground on the recruiting trail this season.

A terrific young sophomore who started and shined for the state-champion Buford Wolves, Williams stood out and held his own week after week against tough, quality competition. He’s big and physical at 6-foot-4 280-pounds who knows how to pull in the run game and find defenders to block at the second level. He shows impressive mobility for his size and does a great job of holding his blocks and burying defenders into the ground. He’s one of the top 2028 OL prospects in Gwinnett County with the potential to dominate as a junior in 2026. He’s recently earned offers from Georgia, Nebraska, and Boston College with more likely coming his way soon. Williams should see a big boost in the next 2028 rankings update this spring.
