Every Sunday, we'll take a look at at on of fantastic individual performances. Following games each week, DM us @PrepRedzoneOK on X or email Michael@PrepRedzone.com to submit your picks. This week, we're featuring 32 different performances from players across the state. And realistically, we've put a spotlight on 45 different players this weekend. He finished with 30 carries and totaled 182 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Now, Houk and the Yellowjackets get ready for a big week two game against former district foe Cashion.   [player_tooltip player_id='1837293' first='Ayden' last='Gaines'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Claremore   There weren't many players that were more clutch than Claremore senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1837293' first='Ayden' last='Gaines'] on Friday night. The Zebra newcomer finished the night with six catches for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. But that second touchdown came with less than a minute to play to give Claremore the win over Bartlesville.   [player_tooltip player_id='2256206' first='Bret' last='Schauffler'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Verdigris   Verdigris kicked off their season with an emphatic win over Sperry on Friday night. Leading the way was a passing attack that could not be slowed down. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='2256206' first='Bret' last='Schauffler'] had quite the start to his senior season. He finished with ten catches for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the week one victory.   [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] - 2027 Running Back - Coweta   If the season ended today, Coweta senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] would probably be the front runner for Player Of The Year. He was dominant once again in Coweta's close win over Pryor. He had 31 carries for 267 yards and seven catches for 116 yards and scored five touchdowns. This coming a week after scoring six touchdowns against Wagoner.   [player_tooltip player_id='1838645' first='Bryson' last='Sullivan'] - 2029 Quarterback - Cleveland   Cleveland bounced back from a tough rivalry loss to Hominy by beating Claremore Sequoyah in a close one. Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1838645' first='Bryson' last='Sullivan'] filled up the stat sheet as a passer and as a runner. He threw for over 350 yards on 17-30 passing and also added over 100 yards on 14 carries and finished with five total touchdowns.   Camden Ferder - 2027 Wide Receiver - Adair   Adair bounced back in a major way after a tough loss in week zero. They dominated Inola, putting up 60+ points in the win and senior wide receiver Camden Ferder had a big game. He finished with seven catches for over 160 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The defending 2A-2 state champions are back on the right track after week one.   [player_tooltip player_id='1014077' first='Cameron' last='Quarrels Jr.'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Edmond Memorial   Edmond Memorial could not be stopped in their rivalry win over Edmond Santa Fe on Friday night. We had several players to pick from but landed on senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1014077' first='Cameron' last='Quarrels Jr.'] after the night he had. He caught eight passes for nearly 200 yards and a touchdown, continuing to show why he's one of the best receivers in 6A-1.   [player_tooltip player_id='1837059' first='Cash' last='Keys'] - 2027 Athlete - Fort Gibson   Fort Gibson bounced back from a week zero loss by winning Friday night and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1837059' first='Cash' last='Keys'] showed once again why he's one of the better athletes in Class 4A. In the win, he caught 11 passes for over 230 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a handful of tackles and an interception on the defensive side of the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='1830566' first='Cayden' last='Mathurin'] - 2028 Defensive Back - Lincoln Christian   Lincoln Christian nearly went down in OKC to rival Heritage Hall but clutch plays down the stretch, including on the defensive side of the ball. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1830566' first='Cayden' last='Mathurin'] had a night to remember in the win. He finished with a handful of tackles but it was the three interceptions that earns a spot on this breakdown as he had a career night.   Cody Clark - 2030 Athlete - Harrah   What a season opener and the first game of Cody Clark's career. The Harrah freshman was essential to helping the Panthers get a rivalry win over McLoud on Friday night. Clark totaled nearly 300 all purpose yards in the win and had a touchdown on the opening kickoff and an interception on defense. Clark is a 2030 name to file away with that debut.   [player_tooltip player_id='1522515' first='Cole' last='Rolland'] - 2028 Quarterback - Checotah   Checotah improved to 2-0 on the season by dismantling Beggs on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1522515' first='Cole' last='Rolland'] was dominant as a passer and as a runner in the week one victory. He finished with over 200 yards passing and three touchdowns on 10-14 passing. He also had 15 carries for over 100 yards and three more touchdowns on the ground.   Conner Hess - 2028 Quarterback - Salina   Salina junior quarterback Conner Hess had a strong debut for the Wildcats on Friday night. He was dominant on the ground, finishing with nearly 150 yards and four touchdowns on just seven carries. He also had two passing touchdowns in the win. Salina is yet another team to look out for in Class 2A-2 this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='1836647' first='Cordae' last='Richie'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Elgin   Elgin didn't get caught looking ahead to a week two showdown with Tuttle. They took care of business against Guthrie and senior Cordae Ritchie was incredibly efficient in the win. He touched the ball two times on Friday night and he scored both times. He had a 27-yard touchdown reception and returned an interception 40+ yards for another score.   [player_tooltip player_id='1695230' first='Curtis' last='Henley IV'] - 2027 Running Back - Mangum   Mangum senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1695230' first='Curtis' last='Henley IV'] was outstanding for the second straight week as the Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season. Henley finished with over 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries and his night was over by halftime. Mangum followed up a competitive win over Thomas with a dominant win over Empire.   [player_tooltip player_id='1830547' first='Darion' last='Thomas'] - 2027 Linebacker - Carl Albert   Carl Albert won their 55th consecutive game on Friday night and senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1830547' first='Darion' last='Thomas'] was once again a tackling machine in the win over Booker T Washington. Thomas finished the night with 14 tackles, including three tackles for a loss. In the first two games, Thomas has 30 tackles. Now, Thomas and the Titans prepare for a title rematch against McGuinness.   [player_tooltip player_id='2243557' first='Dason' last='McBride'] - 2028 Running Back - Cascia Hall   Cascia Hall improved to 2-0 on the season with a runaway win over Rejoice Christian. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='2243557' first='Dason' last='McBride'] had another stellar performance after shining in the win over Holland Hall in week zero. McBride finished with 18 carries for nearly 90 yards and a touchdown. He also added five catches for 99 yards and he had 44 kick return yards.   [player_tooltip player_id='1324250' first='Dax' last='Owens'] - 2027 Quarterback - Davis   The Davis Wolves opened up their season with a big win over Lone Grove. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1324250' first='Dax' last='Owens'] was unstoppable once again. He had nine carries for nearly 130 yards and a touchdown. He was one of three players to finish with over 100 yards on the ground. He also completed his only pass for a 38-yard touchdown in the win.   [player_tooltip player_id='1829385' first='Gavin' last='Evans'] - 2029 Defensive End - Clinton   Clinton took care of business against Blanchard to improve to 2-0 on the year and they were led on defense by emerging sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1829385' first='Gavin' last='Evans'] at linebacker. Evans finished the night with ten tackles, including three for a loss and a sack and pass break up. The Clinton coaches are high on Evans moving forward as it looks like he'll be a 2029 name to know.   Isaiah Ward - 2029 Running Back - Lawton MacArthur   Lawton MacArthur turned to sophomore running back Isaiah Ward to carry the ball against rival Lawton Eisenhower on Friday night. After the season opener, the Highlanders had lost their top two running backs and Ward answered the call. He finished with over 150 yards and four touchdowns as the Highlanders knocked off Lawton Eisenhower.   [player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] - 2029 Quarterback - Jones   3A's top-ranked Jones bounced back from a season-opening loss to Lincoln Christian with a rout of Bethany Friday night. Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] also filled up the stat sheet as a passer and a runner. He threw for nearly 240 yards and four touchdowns on 22-32 passing. He also added nearly 60 yards and a touchdown on the ground.   [player_tooltip player_id='2254371' first='Jimmie' last='Wildcat'] - 2028 Running Back/Linebacker - Pawhuska   Pawhuska had one of the more impressive wins of week one when they went on the road and put up 50+ points in a win over Stroud Friday night. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2254371' first='Jimmie' last='Wildcat'] was outstanding on both sides of the ball in the win. Offensively, he had ten carries for nearly 70 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 15 tackles, including six tackles for loss on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='1833650' first='Jordyn' last='Lewis'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Idabel   Idabel rolled in a season-opening victory over Valliant and senior wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1833650' first='Jordyn' last='Lewis'] had a strong night in the opener. He had five catches for over 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Defensively, he had six tackles, one sack and an interception. They'll need a performance like that as they face Broken Bow in week two.   [player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Jenks   For the second straight week, Jenks went out of state but this time, they came back to Oklahoma with a win. In a dominant win over Rogers, senior and Florida commit [player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] showed why he's one of the best players in the state. He finished with nine catches for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now, they get ready for a showdown with Bixby.   [player_tooltip player_id='1035154' first='Kaleb' last='Blackwolf'] - 2027 Running Back - Del City   Del City opened their 2026 season with a dominant win over Southeast. Senior standout and NSU commit [player_tooltip player_id='1035154' first='Kaleb' last='Blackwolf'] could not be stopped in the win. He only had 12 carries on the night but still managed to finish with nearly 200 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Blackwolf is a dominant football player and showed that Friday night.   [player_tooltip player_id='1833825' first='Kalel' last='Flagg'] - 2028 Wide Receiver - Broken Bow   Broken Bow improved to 2-0 on the season after beating Durant on the road Friday night. Junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1833825' first='Kalel' last='Flagg'] had quite the night in the win. He only had three catches on the night but all three ended with Flagg getting to the end zone. He had three catches for just shy of 100 yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Lions.   [player_tooltip player_id='1678735' first='Kase' last='Adams'] - 2027 Quarterback - Sallisaw   Sallisaw rolled to a 2-0 start and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1678735' first='Kase' last='Adams'] had a strong showing at the quarterback position. Adams is off to a strong start this year and he played really well in their win. He threw for nearly 200 yards and a touchdown on 16-23 passing. He also had over 130 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries as he continues to fill up the stat sheet.   [player_tooltip player_id='1633137' first='Lane' last='Simpson'] - 2028 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Cushing   We consider Cushing junior [player_tooltip player_id='1633137' first='Lane' last='Simpson'] as one of the top overall athletes in the state and Friday's performance against Bristow is a good example of that. Simpson had four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, a pick six on defense and he also returned a kick 70 yards for his third touchdown. He's the ultimate weapon in all three phases of the game.   [player_tooltip player_id='1262599' first='Oakley' last='Caruthers'] - 2027 Defensive Lineman - Norman   Norman bounced back after a tough rivalry loss to Norman North last week. The Tigers were led by senior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1262599' first='Oakley' last='Caruthers'] as he was dominant on the line of scrimmage. He finished the night with nine tackles, including one for a loss. He also totaled three sacks in the win but the biggest play was the interception he returned for six. .   [player_tooltip player_id='1522522' first='Ryder' last='Waddell'] - 2028 Tight End/Linebacker - Poteau   Poteau bounced back from a week zero loss by going on the road and taking down Tahlequah on Friday night. Junior star [player_tooltip player_id='1522522' first='Ryder' last='Waddell'] did a little bit of everything in the win. Offensively, he had three rushing touchdowns, in addition to his four catches for over 110 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he had five tackles, including two tackles for loss.   [player_tooltip player_id='1686398' first='Shamar' last='Banner'] - 2027 Quarterback - Broken Arrow   Broken Arrow made a short trip over to Union and took care of business against the Redhawks. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1686398' first='Shamar' last='Banner'] had another efficient night in the win on Friday night. He threw for 82 yards and two touchdowns on 6-9 passing and also added over 50 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Banner is an end zone magnet.   [player_tooltip player_id='1184832' first='Tyson' last='Hawkins'] - 2027 Athlete - North Rock Creek   North Rock Creek took care of business on Friday night and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1184832' first='Tyson' last='Hawkins'] did whatever he needed to do in the win. Hawkins is known for being a shutdown defensive back and a productive athlete on offense. On Friday, Hawkins had to play quarterback after they lost their first two guys. He finished with over 100 yards and a touchdown while adding 11 tackles on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='1717719' first='Zealand' last='Danielson'] - 2028 Quarterback - Yukon   For the second straight week, Yukon junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1717719' first='Zealand' last='Danielson'] finds himself on this breakdown. But his performance in their rivalry win over Mustang this week definitely surpasses what he did in week zero. In the win, Danielson threw for 275 yards and a touchdown on 18-27 passing while adding nearly 100 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
